A good reasons to keep your home stocked with candles is to create a zen environment, to help you unwind at the end of a long day, set a romantic mood and now, with our massage candles, added to all that wonderful atmosphere, to have an at-home massage!
But what exactly is a massage candle? It is especially formulated with soy wax, shea butter, vitamin E oil and essential oils which won't harm your skin upon direct contact, because soy melts at a comfortable temperature and isn't an irritant (provided you don't have a soy allergy), and the ingredients will smooth and hydrate your skin.
To use massage candles safely: Allow the candle to burn so that there's an adequate puddle of melted wax on the top. Then, blow out the flame, let cool slightly (you want it to be liquid and warm, but not too hot), and pour onto skin prior to the massage. Use as you would any massage balm or oil to relieve tension, help with skin problems such as eczema and dermatitis and deeply moisturise your skin.
